The most recent newsletter was emailed to our list on June 19. Email to join the list. No obligation, no hard sales, just updates on Pastime Projects and what is going on here. Of course, we do not share your information, and you can opt out any time. Email pastimeprojects@yahoo.com to get on the list. The vernier capacitor arrived yesterday for our new 12 volt receiver. This will slow down the tuning rate. Right now the prototype is working on 80-75 meters. The new capacitor is manufactured in the USA. We are starting to sell on eBay this week. Check us out . Follow us to eBay. We are listed as billglennbob. Some of our Clic-key II key kits have a problem. It is caused by the wood channel not being quite deep enough to allow the key beam to drop down to actuate the switch. Just carve out or sand out the bottom of the wood channel and the key will work just fine. Our calendar shows a hamfest at Wellington Ohio on  the 12th of july and another at Van Wert Ohio on the 20th. Hope to see you there. Watch for the announcment of the regenerative receiver soon.  73  Glenn NN8G

Visa and Mastercard are available on the PayPal buttons. We are staying close to the prototype bench with the development of the first Pastime Projects receive kit. Stay tuned. Glenn

I spent the last few days working on the prototype regenerative receiver. The first priority is the 12 volt model. The one pictured works on 80 and 75 meters. It is working very well. A regenerative kit must be easily reproducible, inexpensive, simple to construct, and fun to build. That is the Pastime Projects mini woofen in the background. More details in our May Newsletter.

The latest email newsletter was sent out to our list of readers today.  It described in detail, among other things, the latest straight key, the 'Clic-Key II'. The article described the parts and some detail of how we enjoy the hunt for the best part at the lowest cost.  We will not be shipping products until the week of April 21. We have already promised customers to list many products on eBay that week. eBay accounts for a lot of our business. In the meanwhile we will be right here answering your inquiries and working on new products. We have had many letters from satisfied (enthusiastic!) customers. Thanks for the encouragement.  73 Glenn NN8G
